Vivoka, a leader in voice-enabled technology solutions, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Christophe Couvreur as its new Chief Executive Officer. Christophe Couvreur brings over two decades of experience in advanced technology roles, most notably as a member of the leadership team of Cerence following its separation from Nuance Communications, and holds deep expertise across voice and AI technology, application software, and automotive and mobile domains.
Former CEO William Simonin will transition to Chairman of the Board and will focus on the growth of Ta-da, a blockchain-based data collection spin-off of Vivoka. His new role will allow him to leverage his extensive experience while continuing to provide strategic guidance to Vivoka. “Christophe’s appointment as CEO is a strategic move that will drive our technological and market leadership to new heights,” said William. “His proven track record and innovative spirit are exactly what Vivoka needs as we enter our next phase of growth.“
Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Couvreur has held several senior leadership positions, including Senior Vice President and GM Core Products – at Cerence, where he was instrumental in developing cutting-edge voice and AI technologies and bringing them to market. His role in shaping the digital strategies and product portfolios of major technology firms has positioned him as a visionary leader in the industry.
