Your mission

As a rapidly growing startup in the field of Voice Interaction Development, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious professional like yourself to lead our revenue generation efforts and play a pivotal role in our mission to become the Adobe for Voice Interactions.

As our Chief Commercial Officer, you will have a critical role in driving Vivoka’s revenue growth and increasing our market penetration. Your primary duty will be to outline and execute a comprehensive go-to-market and revenue strategy, harnessing all viable channels to optimize our revenue potential. While concentrating on revenue generation, you will collaborate closely with the CEO, COO, and harmonize financials with our Financial Department to ensure congruence with the company’s overarching objectives. Specifically, your responsibilities will entail:

  1. Go-To-Market Strategy: Define and implement a clear go-to-market strategy to identify scalability and market opportunities. Utilize insights from our diverse and growing customer base, optimize our approach towards attracting and winning new logos, and ensure alignment with Vivoka’s overall business strategy.
  2. Revenue Strategy: Develop and implement a robust revenue strategy that aligns with Vivoka’s goals and market dynamics, targeting both B2B and B2C Enterprises segments.
  3. Sales Management: Lead our direct and indirect sales efforts, providing guidance, support, and coaching to achieve sales targets and drive customer acquisition.
  4. Marketing Growth: Drive the Acquisition Marketing team to optimize customer acquisition efforts and identify new growth opportunities.
  5. Partnership Development: Identify and foster strategic partnerships that align with Vivoka’s vision, driving sales through mutually beneficial collaborations.
  6. Revenue Forecasting and Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to the executive team.

Seeking a Chief Commercial Officer with:

  • Strong Expertise: 8+ years of experience in marketing and sales leadership roles, with an emphasis on scaling operations within startups. Experience in selling complex tech solutions on an international scale is essential.
  • Dynamic Leadership: Proven ability to inspire, motivate, and coach diverse teams. Leadership experience should include a hands-on approach and a track record of leading by influence.
  • Proficient in Sales: Expert in Consultative/Solution/Challenger selling methodologies and experienced in channel management. Demonstrated history of driving results and stepping out of the comfort zone for growth opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools is essential. Comfort with commercial contract creation is required for effective collaboration with legal and financial teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills are vital. French language proficiency is an asset.
  • Autonomy: Emphasis on self-reliance and empowering team members to strive for autonomy, fostering a culture of self-reliance and pragmatic, result-oriented action.
  • Bonus Skills: Additional consideration for candidates with experience in Voice Tech, selling PaaS and/or AI solutions.
