Your mission
Show off your web development skills with us! We need a Front-End Developer who's excited to create an amazing experience for our users, solve problems and make our website (WordPress) super fast. If you love building websites, fixing issues, and creating awesome interfaces, we want you! This is an on-site role. The Front-End Development Intern will work closely with the marketing team.
Job’s responsibilities
- Design Awesome Interfaces: Make our website look amazing with cool layouts, interactive user interfaces and navigation menus to ensure a functional and intuitive website
- Creating or modifying WordPress Plugins, Themes
- Solve Problems: Resolve technical issues like hreflang conflicts, 4XX status codes, and broken links…
- Speed Things Up: Work your magic to optimize website performance, including speeding up HTML page load times
- Keep Things Running Smoothly: Managing internal links and text-to-HTML ratio and Handling AMP-related issues and optimize JavaScript and CSS files
- Manage sitemap.xml and robots.txt files for better website crawling and indexing (in collaboration with the marketing team)
- Write and Review Code: Writing and reviewing code for sites, typically HTML, XML, or JavaScript
- Make Users Happy: Make sure our website is easy to navigate and mobile friendly meanwhile troubleshooting problems with performance or user experience.
Required skills
- Know Your Stuff: Proficiency in web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Be a Problem Solver: Ability to diagnose and fix website issues
- Pay Attention to Details: Notice the little things that can make a big difference
- Be Skilled: Front-end Development and Responsive Web Design skills
