Your mission
As a Business Development Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving Vivoka’s growth by building and managing key relationships in the logistics sector. This position offers a high degree of autonomy to develop the U.S. market while being fully supported by our global team. You’ll report directly to our Chief Revenue Officer in France, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that address customer needs. We provide robust onboarding and training programs to ensure you are equipped for success in this dynamic, impactful role. Job’s responsibilities
- Strategic Account Management:
- Identify and engage with high-potential logistics integrators, solution providers, and 3PLs.
- Develop account-specific strategies focused on long-term relationships, business growth and delivering measurable value.
- Communicate Value Clearly:
- Lead customer discussions centered on the benefits and ROI of Vivoka’s solutions, demonstrating how they address specific operational challenges.
- Help clients see the transformative impact of integrating our Voice AI platform into their workflows.
- Drive Sales Growth:
- Own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring a methodical and value-driven approach at each stage.
- Meet and exceed revenue and growth targets by delivering tailored solutions that align with customer objectives.
- Negotiate Effectively:
- Engage in value-focused negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Build trust and alignment throughout the decision-making process.
- Collaborate Across Teams:
- Work closely with Product and Technical teams to ensure customer needs are met with tailored solutions.
- Partner with Marketing to craft campaigns targeting your key customer segments.
- Pipeline Management and Reporting:
- Maintain a structured and up-to-date pipeline in Pipedrive, providing accurate forecasts and insights.
- Report regularly to the CRO on account performance and opportunities.
- Post-Sales Collaboration:
- Ensure a seamless handoff to the Customer Success team for onboarding and ongoing support.
- Act as a customer advocate, providing feedback to internal teams to enhance product offerings and overall experience.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven Track Record in B2B Sales: Preferably in logistics or software solutions targeting integrators, solution providers, or 3PLs.
- Account Acquisition Skills: Demonstrated success in winning new accounts and driving growth in untapped markets.
- Strategic Sales Approach: Ability to identify and engage key stakeholders, build relationships, and navigate complex sales cycles with a structured, consultative approach.
- Self-Starter: Comfortable working in a startup environment, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of sales goals.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong ability to present, negotiate, and close deals effectively.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using Pipedrive or similar tools to manage and organize sales pipelines.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of logistics operations and warehouse management systems (WMS) value chain.
- Familiarity with voice AI technologies or related innovations.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a focus on delivering win-win outcomes.
